Physiotherapist Mylan Quatch, Manager of the Hydrotherapy Pool at the Kruger Medical Centre, has marked one year in operation.

“Things have been going well,” said Mylan. “We’ve expanded operations to 4 days per week.”

Mylan conducts hydrotherapy sessions at the pool, but also performs physiotherapy at people’s homes.

Mylan says that she is hoping to continue increasing the hydrotherapy pool’s operations. In March 2014, Harden Shire Council and the Kruger Trust committed to covering the initial operating costs for 12 months at the hydrotherapy pool.

“I am now looking at expanding the contract,” said Mylan.

Acting General Manager of Harden Shire Council, Trevor Drowley said, “The contract hasn’t been finalised as yet, but it’s almost there.”

“It will be finalised shortly.”

The pool is open 9:00am to 5:00pm, four days per week. Appointments can be made by self-referral, or by referral from a doctor. To make an appointment, call 63 864 905, or make an enquiry by email at physiotherapy@quach.com.au.
