The Harden Red Devils are back!

The Devils travelled to Cootamundra for their first game in 4 years. Zac Allen scored in the second minute after a good ball by Clint Stevens and the forwards set a solid platform all day.

Forwards, Ben Brady, Toby Spackman, Jeremy Martin, Ethan Chamberlain, Scott Peisley, Jason McGuigan and Toby Hayden recycled quality ball and competed well at the ruck providing several phases of clean ball to the backs.

Harry Sachs was in sensational form and scored his first try after taking a chip kick by Cootamundra and his second try after a good ball from Adam Ceeney. Jayden Nicholls and Barry Chesworth repelled several attacks from Cootamundra with John Ryan’s boot in sync, kicking 3 from 4.

The final score saw Harden victorious 20 points to Cootamundra’s 14.

Harden will play The Wagga Waratahs at Cootamundra under lights on Friday 24th April.

Training is held on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 630pm at Roberts Park and everyone is welcome to come along, train and join the side.
