Harden Historic Truck and Tractor Club Inc along with the Harden Murrumburrah Historical Society would like to thank the following for an outstanding show on sunday the 23 of March 2014. The Mens’ Shed, The SES, Harden Shire Council, the Show Society and all exhibitors. Our sponsors on the day including Shannon’s Insurance, Harden Bearings and Hardware, Quilters Stash and the Harden Newsagency.

Kevin Sharp said attendance for the day was very pleasing and that approximately 1000 people came through the gate. Very good support was shown from local entrants and enthusiasts from further afield such as Coonabarabran, Sydney, Molong, Dubbo, Wagga, Temora and Queanbeyan. Kevin said thanks must also go to local Truckers Tegra and Maddens for their display of new Trucks. He said that the newly signed Maddens truck was a particular talking point of the day.

He also said the following volunteers made the day possible including Terry O’Keefe, Dee Fairall, Marg Tobin, Jenny and Erin Smith, Margaret Thornhill and Gunna Stevens. Delta and the Community Bank also provided tents for the day.

Best Classic Car went to 1937 Packard Coupe owned by Harold Upston of Cowra. best Tractor went to 1954 Oliver Seltrac owned by Ted Gibbons of Rye Park.

Best Classic Truck F600 owned by Brian Tomkins of Cowra.

Best Working Truck went to Kenworth T908 owned by Bryan Doorman Transport/Steve Apps of Young.

The raffle was won by David Moorby. Second Gary Webb, Third Dianne Moorby and Fourth Linley Chaplin.
