The Commonwealth Bank Staff Fund is the major fundraising sponsor for the Clown Doctors – this year Harden Branch is endeavouring to raise some funds locally. We are asking the schools in the local area to have an out-of-uniform day for the children from which they may make a gold coin donation.
The Bank is having a BBQ outside the Branch on Thursday the 27th March between 11.00 am and 1.30 pm – everyone is welcome and we are only asking for a gold coin donation.
The staff may not be recognisable as they will be wearing their clown wigs for the day.
There are more than 50 Clown Doctors nationwide – they are professional performers trained to work in hospitals, using humour to bring support, fun and laughter to over 100,000 patients each year, to help them forget for a moment that they are ill. We encourage everyone to support this worthwhile cause.
