Glen Howe & Joe Blundell have been hard at work preparing the Harden Showground for the upcoming Horse Trials.

Entries for the Harden Horse Trials Event are rolling in with a total of 170 entries. The two day event will be held on the Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August.
Members and friends have been hard at work over the last two months, although the weather has held up a lot of projects.  Our cross country course which surrounds the Harden Showgrounds was in need of lots of changes to keep up with safety standards.  Accreditation of a qualified course designer was needed in order for the club to keep going.   Natalie Blundell put her hand up and travelled up to Tamworth to complete the course and exams.
Olympic rider Stuart Tinney travelled to Harden to look at our course and advise on some changes. Some new jumps have been ordered and provided the rain keeps away these may be delivered this week.
A canteen will be at the grounds organised by the Harden Gun Club and anyone is welcome to come along during the weekend and watch the dressage, cross country and show jumping.
Our rug sponsors this year are: Nat Blundell Equestrian, Green Homes Australia, Coopers Butchery, Harden Hunt Club, Harden Fuel Supplies, Over The Top Jumping Equipment and Jonesy’s Bobcat Service.
