Judge Kenny Bergin from Ashfield in Sydney ran his astute eye over the entrants to the 32nd poultry show.

The 32nd Poultry show was held last weekend at the Murrumburrah Showground. Spokesperson Dale Ashton said they were very happy with the 550 entrants and it was he said probably one of the best shows in years. Entries came from all over New South Wales. Dale won the Grand Champion hard feather bantam section and the Reserve Grand Champion soft feather bantam. The Grand Champion of show was won by John Lawlor of Orange. Margaret Day won the Reserve Champion with an Indian Runner Duck and the Harden Newsagency Trophy for the best lady exhibitor. The rare breeds prize was taken out by Peter Shands with a Partridge Wyandotte (named after an American tribe).
