On Wednesday last week Southern Cross Care made a gift of their 25 seater bus to Trinity Primary Catholic School, Murrumburrah Public School and Murrumburrah High School.
The Mitsubishi bus was formerly used at Galong and will now be available on a share basis to the 3 schools. The P and C representatives from each school were very enthusiastic about receiving the bus and the plans for future use.
Brian Dunn made special mention of John Killick and Jim Wright for their work on the project and to Robert Lemon for his tireless volunteer work. Robert installed all of the seat belts in the bus in readiness for the delivery to the school P and C Associations.
The joint venture highlights what can be achieved when we all work together.
