Local couple Lloyd Rogers and Winsome Bonham will be the guest presenters at an upcoming Community Break fast hosted by the Harden/Galong Uniting Church on Saturday, 4th June.

Lloyd and Winsome have now put their feet down in Murrumburrah after a lifetime of adventures that have taken them around Australia and around the world. Both grew up in Harden and attended Murrumburrah Intermediate High School.

In younger days Winsome worked with Jim Wright at the Harden District Rural Advisory Service amongst other local jobs. She has travelled to England and Europe and fundraised for charities in a most unusual way.

With Lloyd, Winsome has circumnavigated Australia in a way that no other couple has ever done. They are keen to tell you all about it at the Community Breakfast. Meanwhile, Lloyd became a radio and radar technician which led to many adventures here and around the world, including advanced radar training in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The couple recently settled back into Harden after 14 years on the road around Australia.

Come along to the breakfast, and hear the details of their fascinating lives. The Community Breakfast on 4th June is in the Uniting Church Hall in Binalong Street, Murrumburrah commencing at 8.00 am. A full cooked breakfast will be served at a cost of $15 per person payable at the door.

Normally a men’s breakfast, this Saturday morning event will be open to men and women of our district.

Bookings are essential, so please RSVP to Neville Alcorn 0427 701 280 or Stewart Bruce 0423 090 912 by Wednesday, 1st June.
