Break and Enter and Anti-Social Behaviour in Harden

Between 3am and 3:40am on Thursday 26th March 2020 Police received a number of phone calls about a group of youths causing disturbances in a number of streets in Harden as well as banging on the door of a home and attempting to open the door of another home. Harden Police attended and spoke to a number of residents but were unable to locate the offenders. About 9:30am on the same date Harden Police were called to Harden Tennis Club regarding a break and enter offence that occurred overnight. They are investigating whether the matters are linked.

Police are encouraging residents to call them if they hear or see suspicious behaviour or anti-social behaviour and to include descriptions of the offenders wherever possible.

Parents are encouraged to know where there children are. It is unacceptable that a group of youths would be wandering the streets at this hour of the morning, disturbing the peace and potentially committing offences.

There is no need to panic buy at shops and we have seen to date that all those people who hoarded items actually had no need to do so.
