The rally was run in conjunction with other shire areas including Cabonne, Oberon, Guyra, Gloucester, Gundagai, Tumbarumba, Taree and Forster.

The group made their way up Neill Street being led by Collins’ truck with a large banner displaying a picture of Paul Toole and Mike Baird with the message “Don’t Forgive Don’t Forget”

The rally was the  first time residents have come together since they were forcibly merged with Young and Boorowa on May 12.

Some mud looks like it may have stuck to Premier Baird on the group’s banner.

Former Harden Shire Councillors who are now members of the Hilltops advisory group were not present at the rally.

Video footage of the event was taken and will be posted soon. An in-depth story will follow.
