The 3rd Annual Harden Camera Club Exhibition was held over the weekend, attracting a considerable amount of interest from participants and passers-by alike. The exhibition was opened last Friday with an awards night at the Courthouse, with food provided by Camera Club members.

“We had a very good attendance at the opening night,” said Kate Ward of the Harden Camera Club. “The standard of the photos exhibited was very high indeed.”

The exhibition attracted people from Sydney, West Wyalong, Bathurst, as well as the local region.

The Champion Print for the Open Section was won by Sue Stibbard, with the Most Successful Photograph won by Gail Douglass. Gail won the Connie McFadyen Perpetual Trophy as a result.

In the Junior Section, the Champion Print was won by Sam Beal, with the Most Successful Photograph won by Nikki Sargent. “The standard of the junior section was quite high,” said Kate. “We are very proud of our young photographers.”

The People’s Choice Award was won by Sam Beal, and Erich Anderson with his picture of Harden Polo X.

The 4th Annual Harden Camera Club Exhibition will be held next year.
