“The interstate Judges want to come back next year”. Harden Murrumburrah Kennel Club Secretary Dot Williams was ecstatic when asked of the success of the 3 day show held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of July on the weekend.

She said the 3 day show attracted 500, 600 and 600 entries across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“The weather was excellent and it was a wonderful weekend”.

She said that the show was helped by over $2000 of local donations from businesses with local Pharmascist Adam Walsh winning the $600 raffle prize of Accomodation at Colenso Cottage.

Dot wanted to thank all of the sponsors including the Terracotta, Barnes Emporium and Jackson’s Bakery who also donated meals for the raffle.

She estimated that the entire weekend costs the club over $24,000 to run and said how happy the committee were to have the Bendigo Bank, Harden Murrumburrah Community Bank on board as sponsors.

“Some people camp and others stay in local accomodation and its great for the town, we cant wait for next year”.

Hundreds of locals also attended the show over the weekend many for the first time with over 100 different breeds on display.

The Showground will come alive again this weekend with the Harden Horse Trials taking centre stage with 165 entrants.
