Harden Shire Council has emerged as possessing the fastest processing time for Development Applications in the region for the 2012/2013 time period.
Yass Shire spends on average 86 days with 63 in Weddin, 46 in Boorowa and 42 in both Young and Gundagai. Cootamundra’s time was closer to Harden’s with 31 days, however at 28 days Harden Shire has the most efficient processing time.
The Shire had a total of 50 new development applications during the period for a total of $3.4 million, which included dwelling additions, new dwellings and commercial premises.
