This Saturday will see 4 grades of Rugby League take to the surface at McLean Oval, with the U16 Yass Magpies set down to play the North Canberra Bears at 11:30am.
The day will see 3 grades of Hawk’s matches to follow, with the Youth League side to take on the North Canberra Bears at 1:00pm, before the Hawkettes take to the field against the Bears at 2:20pm.
The main game will see a re-match of the 2016 George Tooke Grand Final, where the Hawks will be out for revenge against their newest rivals. Kick off is at 3:20pm
All grades will wear pink socks on Saturday for Ladies day and there will be a donation bucket doing the rounds. All money raised will go to scleroderma research.
Ladies day commences at 1:00pm above the dressing sheds.
The club hopes to see all the beautiful wives, partners, sisters, mums, grandmothers and female supporters get together to cheer on their team and take part in a great afternoon of socialising.
Saturday’s round will be dedicated to the memory of the late Mathew Brown.
