Jock and Chloe Ward have returned from State Swimming in Sydney and have posted some improved times during the competition.
17 year old Jock swam in the 17-19 year age group and recorded the following times – Sunday: 200m freestyle, 2.22.58 and dropped 0.97sec off his pb, finishing 18 out of 25 – Tuesday: 100m Butterfly, 1.11.98 dropping 2.26 seconds and finishing 19 out of 21. His 100m freestyle was 1.00.21, he dropped 2.72 seconds and finished 21 out of 25.
On Monday 15 year old Chloe swam in the 17-19 yrs Yanco relay side. She placed 16 out of 26. Chloe swam 31.73 in her lap. On Tuesday Chloe swam in the 15yr girls 100m freestyle and finished 26 out of 29. Her time of 1.11.89 meant she dropped 2.02 seconds. Chloe also competed in the 100m backstroke, recorded a time of 1.26.19 and finished 27 out of 30.
Both Jock and Chloe are enjoying Yanco and everything it has to offer, in particular league tag and horses for Chloe and football for Jock.
