The Twin Town Times will be featuring Joie Whybrow in next week’s edition.

The U14s player was a stand for the BushHawks in this afternoon’s match against the Temora Dragons.

Joie has recently been selected in the Group 9 under 14 side and over the last few years has made the transition from the round ball game to Rugby League.

He is excelling at the game having scored over 40 tries in the 2016 season, with this season looking just as bright for the teenager.

Today’s match saw Joie’s first few touches involve starting the match with a kick off, which landed under the black dot. The ball went 50 metres on the full. He then made the ensuing tackle on the opposition forward. His next touch saw him convert Harden’s first try before he went in to score with his next touch running 50 metres down the western sideline.

Look out for this week’s Times when we speak to Joie about all things Rugby League.

In Senior Rugby League, the Hawkettes were defeated 20-0 by a very slick Bungendore Tigerettes.

The First Grade side were far too strong for the Tigers winning their match 38-4.

The Youth league won their match in convincing fashion 32-6.

The Devils went down to West Wyalong 32-6.
