About 2.00pm on Monday the 27 March, 2017, Cootamundra LAC Detectives stopped a vehicle in Lachlan St, Young, containing two men. They searched both persons and the car, where they found a container containing what is alleged to be a small amount of the prohibited drug, methylamphetamine. A 21 year old man from Young was arrested and taken to Young Police Station where he was interviewed. He was subsequently issued a Court Attendance Notice for Supplying a Prohibited Drug and Possession. He will appear at the Young Local Court on the 18 April, 2017, and has been granted conditional bail.
