The Twin Town Times would like to remind readers of their responsibilities when making comments on social media when statements are made either towards other readers or employees of the Twin Town Times or the Newspaper itself. Statements which are ‘false’ and ‘defamatory’ and or which cause injury to ‘personal integrity’, ‘character’, ‘reputation’ and ‘profession’ including ‘personal’ and ‘professional reputation’ resulting in that person, or the Twin Town Times being ‘discredited’ and ‘disparaged’ and brought into ‘public disrepute’ will not be tolerated in any way.
We reserve the right to seek damages from anyone who makes inaccurate, defamatory or false statements on social media in this regard.
