They have spent 65 years together and raised a very large family of 11 children. September 22, 1951 was their special day and they were married in St. Christopher’s Cathedral in Manuka in the ACT.
Of their brood of 11, five of their children live relatively close by. Helen, and Gemma live in Belconnen while Ray and Michelle live in Queanbeyan and Judy lives in Yass. Four of the family live in Queensland and the remainder are up the north coast. Les and Josie have 27 grand children and 13 great grand children. They celebrated their anniversary dinner with their immediate family and extended family who travelled from afar.
