Mitch Brown and Mum Lisa will be flying out to the UK today with the Riverina Rhinos.
Mitch and Lisa Brown left Harden yesterday to embark on a 15 day Soccer Tour to England with Mitch’s Team mates, the Riverina Rhinos. Mitch loves all sports and his departure date didn’t prevent him from getting to cricket training on Tuesday afternoon An excited Mitch is looking forward to the trip. He recently received the Coache’s Award and his team, the Rhinos won the Youth Conference League out of Sydney. The talented 13 year old is a year 7 student at MHS. The boys will participate in training sessions with Liverpool FC, Anfield, Manchester United, Newcastle United among others. They will also have a hydrotherapy session as part of St. George’s Park Tour. They will attend a seminar on ‘The Liverpool way’, tour the National Football Museum in Manchester, do a stadium tour of Old Trafford and Notts County. They will play in exhibition matches and attend two fixtures of the English Premier League. Mitch will also get to see his favourite team Manchester City play Southhampton. His favourite player is Sergio Aguero for Man City. When the boys return Mitch will be trialling to play in the Canberra NPL for the 2017 season.
