Matt McLay in action for the Hawks on Sunday.
Harden Five Eight Matt McLay will be lacing up the boots and running out for the Harden Hawks In the September 10 Grand Final next Saturday.
Members of the Harden Hawks club were asked to attend a judiciary meeting in Canberra this evening after The North Canberra Bears cited McLay for an incident which occurred during the Major Semi Final on Sunday at McLean Oval.
The incident resulted in a penalty to the Bears.
The case was “thrown out” and McLay is now free to steer the Hawks as they search for their first premiership since 2009.
