The Hawkettes celebrate with Emma James after she kicked the winning field goal today.
A field goal from Emma James has put the Harden Hawkettes league tag side into the Grand Final.
Harden scored first through an intercept by Kate Menz, with the conversion successful the Hawkettes led 6-0. Bungendore struck back with a converted try evening the score 6-6 after the extras were added. The Hawks and Bungendore both went in again making it 12-12 with the goal kickers from both sides doing the job for their team.
The Hawkettes had the Bungendore side pinned down on their own line and had secured possession. With seconds to go the ball went out to Emma James who struck it nicely to put the Hawkettes in to the Grand Final.

The Hawks First Grade side take on the North Canberra Bears at 3:15pm today at McLean Oval. If Harden win they will secure a home Grand Final for the Club and their female counterparts. Goof Luck Hawks.
