Kirsty Summerfield is the Manager of the service.  She holds an Early  Childhood Educator Diploma and has 12 year’s experience in the child care industry.  She was the Director of Boorowa preschool until recently.

Kirsty said that she is at the centre from 7-10 and from 2-6pm as she does programming when the children are not at the centre.  At present Wednesday is the busiest day with 11 children. The centre is licenced for 27.

The building which was the old ballet room has been completely revamped, painted and carpeted and is very quiet and comfortable.

Vacation care is coming up but parents must supply meals for this service. “We are planning excursions to  Canberra and Young. That information will go out next week. Two workers will take care of this program,” Kirsty said.

This service can be very valuable especially for people working outside Harden. They can drop children off from 7 am and Kirsty will provide breakfast. If they are attending Trinity school Kirsty can put them on the bus. The service gives the parents a bit more flexibility. The service opened 6 weeks ago
