The Harden Red Devils defence is the fourth best in the competition. Their attack is eighth best in the competition and the position they sit on the ladder.

The Harden Red Devils will continue their season this Saturday when they head to Crookwell for round 9 of the 16 round competition at 230pm on Saturday. The match signals the second half of the South Coast Monaro Competition which encompasses 11 sides. The Devils enjoyed a bye on the weekend however, it hasn’t helped their standing on the ladder with the for and against points accumulated by other clubs pushing them from 7th to 8th position. Harden’s run home is a little more friendly then the first half of the copmpetition with matches to be played against the ‘weaker’ sides in the competition compared to the first half of the draw.

If Harden can stay in between positions 5 and 8 and come home strongly they may play off in the South Coast Monaro Plate Final. If the Devils were to win this it would be a great end to their first year back in the competition.

Numbers continue to be sporadic at best at training which prevents cohesion in the set pieces and will have a huge bearing on the Devil’s final chances. With about 32 players on the books selections will again prove to be a headache this weekend and lads will have to sit out so that everyone can get a run. Come finals time the best team will be selected to give Harden a chance of taking home some silverware in 2016.
