The Harden-Murrumburrah Soccer Club are kicking off the 2016 soccer season with a higher number of players and four new sponsors on board to support the club.
Players donned their new playing strip on Monday ahead of their first game of the season at Gundagai this weekend. Team sponsors consist of Southern Cross Rams, Harden Bearings & Hardware, Twomeys, Delta Agribusiness, Bendigo Bank, Harden Country Club, Kennett Rural, Cooper’s Choice Cut Butchery, Light Horse Hotel and LubeAlloy.
Sibelco has come on board as an equipment sponsor, whilst South West Fuels are the major sponsor for the club.
“The businesses couldn’t have been better,” said Club President Greg Brown. “We even had some coming to us.”
With an increased number of registrations, the club is the third largest in the competition, and will have a big season in store for it this year.
