Father Joshy was naturalised as an Australian on the 15th February at the Cootamundra Shire Council Office. Father Joshy said it was supposed to take place on Australia Day but he had returned to India to attend celebrations for his sister who was marking 25 years as a sister of St Joseph of St. Marc. Father said, “It was wonderful to see my family and to be part of the celebrations.” He went on to say, “I have been in Australia for six years now and am into my third year as parish priest for Cootamundra and Harden Murrumburrah. “It is a good feeling to be part of two great countries, I very much enjoy being in Australia and serving my parishioners.
