Nathan Schofeild took 3 wickets and Martin Brown smashed 88 runs on Saturday for the Hornets A Grade side.

The Harden Hornets A-Grade side won its first game of the 2015/2016 season at Binalong against the Yass Golf Club Taipans in a game that was moved from Yass due to wet weather. Batting first, Harden managed to score 190 runs off 45 overs with Martin Brown starring with the bat. Martin scored 88 runs to put Harden in a dominant position, and backed his batting up by taking 2/25 off seven overs with the ball. Nathan Schofield had the best bowling figures for Harden, taking 3/15 off 8.1 overs. His performance helped to see off the Taipans when they were bowled out 50 runs short of the target on 140. “We took regular wickets,” said A-Grade Captain Matthew Schofield. It was a good win.” The Hornets will take on the Bowning Buffaloes at Bowning this weekend.
