The Brahmans held their AGM at Binalong last week and confirmed the appointment of Ben Spencer as the 2016 Captain/Coach. Spencer is a long serving member of the Binalong Rugby League Club. He will be partnered by Henry Paton as coach of the Youth League side and Sam Longmore who will again coach The Jersey Girls. Outgoing president, Michael Brayshaw said, ”2015 has been a wonderful year, far beyond my expectations.”

The club finished with a small operating loss for the year, however the purchase of a 24 seat bus made the bottom line look worse than it was. The election of 2016 Office Bearers saw Ben Spencer elected unopposed as President. Leon Arabin was returned as Senior Vice-President. As Madaline Brayshaw was retiring, Alison Spencer was elected unopposed as 2016 Secretary, Junior Vice-President is Susan Meli and Treasurer is Helen Hannaford. “I am pleased to hand over the Club to Ben and Alison in a strong position, to get our juniors within one game of a Grand Final, the Jersey Girls into  their Grand Final and win the Woodbridge Cup was fabulous”, Michael Brayshaw continued.

A number of operational matters were discussed during general business, including the design of a new playing strip for next season. A draft 2016 draw was also tabled which will see Woodbridge Cup start in early April 2016. Members were unanimous in their wish to remain in the Woodbridge Cup competition. bos Indicus.
