Vandalism is a petty crime that normally affects vulnerable, hard working people and often leaves senseless damage requiring these people to foot the bill for the stupidity of others. A spokesman for the Bowling Club met with staff of the Twin Town Times this week to voice their disappointment that members felt regarding the acts of vandalism that occurred over last weekend at the club. A commotion was heard by residents of Binalong Street in the early hours of Sunday morning and they awoke to find that lattice work at the club had been smashed, lane markers had been dislodged and broken and some driven into the green. A fence on the corner of Derby and Binalong Street had also been damaged by the same group of people. The club will now have to repair the damage but they may have the last laugh. The idiots causing the damage were calling each other by their first names in the still of the night while undertaking the destruction. A visit by the local police seems imminent.
