Harden-Murrumburrah Bendigo Bank Branch Manager, Jen Sheridan, has been recognised after achieving the mantel of Second Highest Performing Manager in Australia.
At the Conference for Managers for the Wagga Wagga and South West Slopes regions held in Griffith on November 27 & 28, it was announced that Ms Sheridan was the second highest performing branch manager in the country.
The Harden-Murrumburrah Bendigo Bank branch was also constantly mentioned at the conference. “What’s terrific about this is that it has put Harden on the map for the Bendigo Bank and this has created a lot of excitement within the bank,” she said.
She said every member of her team was exceptional and supportive not only of Jen and the bank but also the clients. Ms Sheridan credits her success with taking a holistic approach to customer’s financial needs.
“What we have been doing is reviewing client’s banking and through those reviews consolidating debt, working on day-to-day budgets and investments all with a goal to meeting client’s personal goals,” she said. “By doing this we have a higher level of retaining clients while attracting new business. The Harden Murrumburrah branch is achieving this at an elite level.”
A recent review of a customer’s finances, for example, had resulted in the customer reducing the period of their mortgage from 28 years to 17 years.
So far this financial year, the Harden-Murrumburrah Bendigo Bank branch has achieved a growth of 9%. According to Ms Sheridan, this means that the increased growth and profits will translate into increased sponsorship for the community.
