Following on from their recent win in the Southern Regional Awards NSW, Ann and Mick Burns have taken out the Australian National Award for cafe restuarant category. The award was presented at a black tie function held in Melbourne a few weeks ago.
Ann said, “It is a great honour to be recognised nationally. We are now on the world stage.” She joked, “We have always been famous for our chips. We have a constant stream of patrons who drive through Harden-Murrumburrah to eat at our restaurant.”
