Trent and Nicole Jackson of Jackson’s Bakery & Cafe have purchased Johno’s Snack Bar from Bob Smith.
Bob Smith commented on his last day which was Friday, that he would miss the business, but more importantly he would miss the people who had become like a family to him.
Some of his customers have come in on a daily basis since he took over almost five years ago. It has been a regular meeting place for groups of ladies who get together for coffee and a chat.
Shandelle Quinn has been with Bob since day 1 and he said he would like to thank her for her assistance.
Nicole said that she hopes Bob will drop in from time to time for a coffee and a catchup with his old customers. She said the business will continue along the same lines.
Bob says he’ll sit on the verandah in the sun for at least a week or two and will now have time to study the form of his beloved Eels.
Bob will be missed from that end of town but I am sure his customers will join the Twin Town Times in wishing him all the best for the future.
