Harden’s 30th Anniversary Horse Trials saw 165 entrants competing last weekend at the Murrumburrah Showground.

The weekend was a great success with the local riders taking home their share of prizes.

Local results:

Alyssa Brown riding ‘Lamspringteen’ came 3rd in the Junior Introductory.

Abigail Davis came 6th in the Junior Newcomber riding ‘My Turbulence’.

Chloe Ward riding two horses ‘Ophir Special’ and ‘Cumburrah Whispers’, rode well.

Olivia Howe riding ‘King Thing’ came 4th in the Pre Novice.

Britanny Grovenor-Holm rode three horses, ‘GV’, ‘Billecart’ and ‘Bliss Grand Rouge’.

Natalie Trethowan riding ‘Montana’ came 4th in the Junior Encourager.

Rugs for prize giving were kindly donated by Coopers Butchery, Harden Fuel Supplies, Harden Country Motel and Main Event Photography.

The Committee held a celebratory dinner with cake on Saturday night. Karen’s Coffee Van was a very popular this year. The Gun Club ran the canteen and the Farm Club from Murrumburrah High School assisted with the cross country events.
