The Harden Red Devils will be playing their second match of the 2022season after their 10 all first round draw against the Young Yabbies. The second round saw them enjoy a forfeit to Condobolin as Condo will not be featuring a side this year.

Harden will be hosting Temora this Saturday with their female counter- parts to take on the Tuskers set to hit the field at 2:15pm before the men. The male Tuskers were soundly beaten by the Tri Colours in the first round going down 61-0 and Young in the second round 53-15.

Harden will be hoping for a big win over the lacklustre Tuskers who are now boasting a 114-15 scoreline from their first two matches, meaning nei- ther defence nor attack is currently their strong point.

Harden Co-Coach Charlie Brown said, “We really pride ourselves on our defence and we are really happy with it. Young had a mountain of ball and 5 tries held up over the line, to come away with a draw was great, we were just rusty going into that first game. Hopefully we can put in a more cohe- sive game against Temora this week- end. We will have a fair few back against Temotra. We are welcoming Jack Rudd and Jack O’Connor as well

as Charlie Fairfield-Smith.
A bit of experience will be good.

Charlie Brown normally plays Open- side Flanker but ended up at Number 8 against Young in a game that saw the Devils do what was need in an un- selfish way.

The She Devils under the tutelage of Coach Harry Sachs will be looking to build on an impressive first round win where they took home the bickies and ran away with the match 31-10

Sachs said, “The girls showed what they are capable of against Young they have really improved off the back of good numbers at training. We have a good pack and plenty of speed and we need to make use of that again on Saturday. Im really proud of what the girls are aiming at and achieving. I’m looking forward to another good clash and hopefully another win for us.

The men will kick off at 3:15pm with full bar and bbq in operation including card facilities.
