A home in Murrumburrah was the target of a prowler in the early hours of Thursday morning this week.
A Murrumburrah resident reported that they heard a disturbance and that her husband prevented a man from entering the home. The offender was described by the home owner as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, slim and had an Australian accent. When confronted the man ran from the scene. The home owners contacted the police.
Inspector Jacob Reeves reported this morning, “We have been investigating a number of reports of suspicious persons, a break and enter and some prowler incidents in Harden.
Following information received, we identified a male and female from interstate who had been staying in the Harden area.
Last night my team arrested the man for other offences and he was bail refused to appear before Wagga Wagga Local Court later today.
From what my night Sergeant told me, I anticipate the couple’s stay in Harden has come to an end.
Investigations into the break and enter and associated offences continue.
Please continue to pass your information and concerns to us. We always seek to respond to them and take action on them.”
