Mens Bowls
The Final of the Men’s Major Pairs Club Championship was played on Sunday.
Brian Madden and Tom Glover pictured defeated Terry Ricketts and Tom Apps 20/14.
Both teams played good bowls with the score levelled at the 16th end 12/12. Brian and Tom won 4 of the last five ends for a good win.
Mufti Bowls
Shane McKellar, Dick Walsh and Keryl McKellar defeated Warwick Prosser, John Balcomb and Bill Maroney 16/11.

Ladies Bowls
There were two matches on the weekend for the start of the Ladies Club Singles Championship 2020.
Kelly Daley defeated Dianna Walsh 25/7.
Kelly was too good for Dianna on the day, Kelly had a good start leading 10/0 after the 4th end. Dianna picked up a shot on the 5th end. Kelly continued to mount up points, leading 19/2 by the 11th end. Dianna picked up 3 shots on the 12th and 2 shots on the 14th, but Kelly kept scoring well and ran out the winner after 17 ends.
Anne-Marie Phillis defeated Nyssa Stadtmiller 26/13.
Anne-Marie got off to a good lead. Score was 10/2 after the 8th end. Nyssa managed to gain a few shots over the next few ends to equal the score by the 16th end 11/11. Anne-Marie was in great form and was too good for Nyssa keeping her at 13 shots for the rest of the match.
