The Harden Worhawks are calling for prospective players aged 17 and over for the 2020 season of the Open Women’s Rugby League tackle side.
The team are looking to improve on a great inaugural season and are looking for ladies who wish to join them.
No previous playing experience is required, just a willingness to learn and most of all have fun. Coach Dave Ings along with Chris Ward and Chris Hocking are looking forward to a great season in 2020 as the Hawks celebrate 100 years. Coach Dave Ings said “It’s good fun. Its the future for women’s footy, players like Tara McGrath-West are having enormous success.”
Pre season training will commence on Monday 6th January and anyone
interested is encouraged to come along and have a go. The Worhawks will train Monday and Wednesdays nights. Games are mostly Friday nights, some on Saturday.
