This is the second year that the district’s Hilltops Choir will host the Hark Hallelujah Concert towards the end of the Cherry Festival weekend. The concert will be held on Sunday, 8th December at St John’s Anglican Church, Young at 3.00 pm.
This year’s program will feature performances by four of the district’s choral groups – Hilltops Choir, Sing Australia (Young), Boorowa M&D Choir and the Cowra Vocal Ensemble – as well as the Young Town Band.
Featured soloists will be well-known local sopranos Julie O’Connor and her sister Penny Simpson (Cowra). Why not come along and enjoy an afternoon of quality ensemble music. Entry is by gold coin donation which includes afternoon tea at the concert’s conclusion.
