Harden IGA are currently taking donations of non-perishable items to be donated to St Vincent De Paul Harden Christmas Drive. St Vincent De Paul then use the donations for hampers for those in need at Christmas time. The donation trolley is located in the front area of IGA, you can place your non-perishable items in there up until close of business on the 13th December. Relieving Manager of St Vincent De Paul Harden Linda Barry said, “People are very appreciative when receiving the hampers, to a lot of the recipients it means ‘Christmas’, more importantly that they are able to eat at Christmas. All donations of food received locally are distributed back locally. Bendigo Bank are currently also collecting donations of toys.” Donations of food can also be brought into the St Vincent De Paul Centre.
