The home of the Harden Hawks has come crashing down today after a contractor commenced demolition works on the change rooms which housed both home and away teams for close to 60 years.
The old canteen building will also be demolished in what will be a revamp of facilities for the local club.
The Hawks were formerly housed in a couple of portable sheds which came from Burrinjuck prior to the 60s and the construction of the now demolished building.
A contractor is yet to be awarded the construction of the new building which is expected to cost up to a million dollars and will provide modern facilities which will be located closer to the actual field.
