Fullers Transport of Harden were the sponsors for our October Medal and we thank Ron for his continued support of Harden Golf, it is truly much appreciated by our Golfer. Tim

Beveridge showed his gratitude in bucket fulls with a round for the ages.  Tim wore a lot younger man’s clothes when he last shot a 63 nett around Harden. Tim’s round was 8 shots better than his handicap (note past tense) and on nett, 3 shots better than his nearest rival.  This got Tim the B Grade Medal, the Fullers Transport Trophy and a shiny new handicap for next weekend.  Great round Tim, well done. In A Grade, the Medal went to Darrell Cassidy with a tidy par round for a 71, which was just enough to take the silverware from Kevin Hoppe on a countback.  Kevin snagged best Scratch Round for the premium ball however.  The B Grade Scratch round went to the burglar lying in wait, Tam Kennedy who was only 2 shots back of the A Scratch score with an 81.Balls on the day went to the B Grade second and third place getters TamKennedy (66 nett) and Craig Henman (67 nett) in a reduced field due to so many being at the Kite Festival.  Our Bendigo Bank Hole in One did not go off yet one of our winners of this esteemed sponsorship already this year, Craig Henman showed he is serious for more with a sweet little shot into 1.04m to claim the ball for the day.Our random card draw for the day went to a man who will now be ruled a professional and thus be eliminated for the remainder of the year.  Peter Steinke has had his number come up 2 months in a row and will have a super full garage fridge at this point, thereby allowing others to benefit for November and December – ha ha
