Super Heroes have taken over the Library at Trinity!! Please call in and take a look at our incredible Super Heroes at work encouraging our students to use their SUPER POWERS of READING to grow as learners. This is the theme adopted by the Children’s Book Council of Australia for Book Week which we will celebrate in Week 7. Throughout the term we will bring books and students together to celebrate the best of Australian children’s literature. More details will be revealed soon about our Book Week celebrations. Students can start working on their costumes for the annual Book Week Parade where they can choose to come dressed as their favourite SUPER HERO or BOOK CHARACTER.
Once again an ENORMOUS thank you to Jill Parker and Olivia Doolan for assisting with displays to make our library an exciting and engaging centre for learning.
Book Fair Success: Due to the incredible success of our recent Book Fair, Trinity was able to purchase $600 worth of new books for our Library. Thank you to Marcie Quinn, Anne Stevens and Dianne Cooper for covering the books which are now on the shelves or in the hands of our very excited borrowers at Trinity. Thanks also to Amy Mergard, Maryanne McKay and Lorraine Pollock for your generosity in covering books earlier this year, what amazing and supportive friends we have.
