With State of Origin 2 about to hit our screens, The Times spoke to local Rugby League Legend Les Boyd.
Les represented NSW between 1979 and 1983.
He played 14 seasons of top flight Rugby League and knows a thing or two about the game which allowed him to represent his state 8 times and his country 17.
Les is looking forward to tonight’s origin and is very supportive of women’s rugby League, he likes the way they play it, which is a bit like they used to a few decades ago. To the point and without wrestling or wasting time in the ruck.
