Georgie Leonow, has been named the 2019 Young Entrepreneur at the Cootamundra Business Awards on Saturday night. Georgie purchased Elizabeth Ann Florist in Cootamundra at the start of 2019
Georgie took over from Phuong, Allan and Trong Jenkins after they operated the business for 43 years.
Georgie said it has always been her dream to own her own Florist business.
She isn’t sure who nominated her for the award but she is very happy to receive it.
She was unable to receive the award in person as she was spending time with her partner Stephen Minney. The couple became engaged over the weekend.
Georgie said, “I was unable to attend the dinner, Mum went in my place.”

Georgie said she would like to thank everyone in Coota, Harden and Temora and everyone who had supported her in her new business venture.
