14 year old Hennessy Catholic College student Amelia Leitner-Ford has won the Times’ I Love Where I Live Photography Competition, with her beautiful sunset taken at McLean oval in Harden. Amelia is very interested in photographing both sunrises and sunsets and has her own instagram page where she documents both.
She loves here sport as well as her photography and plays league tag for the Bushhawks which inspired her McLean Oval shot. Amelia said, “I took the photo on April 25 after league tag training ended. My team mates and I were amazed at the sunset and how beautiful the sky looked. One of my friends took a photo aswell so we could see who took the best photo.”
Amelia will claim the $100 first prize at the Harden Bendigo Bank. 2nd place went to Macy Burns at the Carrington Hotel with a value of $75. 3rd place went to Matt Howarth with a $50 voucher at the Harden District Bowling Club. We thank everyone for entering our first photography competition and look forward to holding another competition soon.
