The Harden CWA held a Trash and Treasure Day on Saturday March 10, which was well supported by the local community. Tables cost $20 to set up for the day with each stall holder able to sell a variety of products and bric a brac. President Margaret Thornhill was happy with the turnout and thanked everyone for their hard work in making the day a success. She made special mention of Deidre Farrell, Judy Penalurick and Heather Campbell. Robyn Carroll took out the 100 club prize. The CWA are looking at running more markets throughout the year with ideas for a Spring market and a Craft market currently proposed. The CWA will be meeting next on April 9 at 7:30pm in the CWA building on the corner of Neill and Stair Street.
