The Bowling Club was full of members and guests on Saturday night, dancing the night away to Bearfax.
Last Saturday night 60 members attended a night of country/rock music at the Harden Bowling Club. The entertainment was presented by band Bearfax, which was excellent in both their music and singing. Quite a few patrons were up dancing to the band’s infectious beat.
Some of our readers would remember the days of early 1970s entertainment in the twin towns. Bands such as The Shalom Towers and The Shades played for dances which were held every few weeks. Sadly, those days are long gone.
The Bowling Club has recently upgraded its tables and chairs in the bar area. Small
tables have replaced the large round ones, allowing for many more variations in their
arrangement. The chairs are most comfortable.
The Bowling Club intends to provide a band for Saturday night entertainment, at least in early April and May and possibly thereafter on a regular basis.
