A weekend of celebration was held in Canberra on 12 – 14 January to celebrate the 90th birthday of former Harden Murrumburrah resident Les Collier.
Les’s wife Josie, his 11 children, 15 of his 27 grand children, 5 of his 13 great grand children, other family members, together with friends and neighbours congratulated Les and helped him celebrate this wonderful milestone.
Also present was another former Harden resident, Toby Granger. Les and Toby grew up together and served on the Harden Murrumburrah fire brigade for a number of years.
They catch up in Belconnen where they both now live, for a cuppa, a chat and to discuss all the Harden news in the Twin Towns Times.
Les and Josie continue to lead an active, healthy lifestyle within the community and travel regularly on different adventures.
