The Temora Tuskers faced off against the She-Devils at Robert’s Park where they were stomped on by the rampaging Temora side, 57 – 5, but the She-Devils remain optimistic.

Opening up for the Red Devils who came on after them, the girls were overwhelmed by the undefeated Tuskers.

John Manchester, coach of the She-Devils said, “we lost Maddie Douglass to a shoulder injury that we hoped she had recovered from, within the first few minutes.

“They were just offloading balls and we couldn’t shut them down. Our defence let us down a little bit.

“After we lost Maddie we were playing with

reserves and we had nine on the paddock at one stage with injuries that occurred during the game.

The She Devils will now face Grenfell at Boorowa today.

Manchester said, “We don’t want to attack them too much in the forwards. We want to use our speed out wide.”

They play Sat, Aug 10, 2:00pm at Boorowa Rugby Club.

If Harden wins, they will have a re-match against Temora next Saturday at Young.
