Harden Hooker Will Hills fires a pass out the backline against Coota at Les Boyd Oval

The Harden Hawks will host the Boorowa Rovers at McLean Oval on Saturday afternoon, and there will be a lot on the line for both teams.

For Harden, they can secure the Minor Premiership and a second chance in the finals with a win.

In contrast, Boorowa can secure a top-three finish with a victory, with the Rovers still an outside chance to win the Minor Premiership, while a loss for Harden will likely see them drop to fourth, meaning they will probably take on an in-form North Canberra outfit in what will be a replay of the 2022 elimination semi-final.

“We want to win and have a second shot in finals,” Harden coach Nick Hall said.

“Finishing in the top three is definitely the key. We don’t want to finish fourth, and we played that game against North Canberra last year, and it was a tough and physical game, and I’m sure they’ll want to make amends for that result.”
